Animal Rescue Club

The McRoberts Animal Rescue Club promotes animal welfare by fundraising for animals who are in need, inviting speakers to present to the club, and volunteering at local shelters. We raised over $2,500 last year and are now sponsoring a puppy training to become a service dog! Everyone is welcome to join! :-)

Welcome to the McRoberts Art Club! This is a club for anyone interested in creating arts while gaining service hours at the same time. No previous art experience is needed, just show up and show your passion! The McRoberts Art Club take on many projects for the school, such as decorating the haunted house and making murals and window paintings, as well as personal projects such as button making and so much more. New members are always welcome!

The club will be raising cancer awareness by looking through stats as well as trying to get some organizations to come in and discuss the topic as well as ways we can help. We will also be fundraising throughout the year to donate to cancer, including a massive hair donation at the end of the year.

Colin and I are are both very interested in hyped sneakers and we have been to many releases.Our club’s goal is to bring together kids from all grades who have the common interest of shoes. To some people shoes are just a tool to walk on, but to many, shoes are a way to express ourselves. Hyped shoes is a big trend right now around the world and within our school. We will be have exciting discussions about upcoming sneaker releases and having fun while doing so. We also may have a few events in the future: where we go out to sneaker stores as a group and try to buy some shoes. We also want to talk about the reselling aspect of our club. The “hype” of the sneakers comes from supply and demand which shows the entrepreneurship part of our club. We can’t wait to have this club going and express our passion with like-minded people.

This club is where people can collect and/or exchange coins/bills from other countries and territories together. There will be rules and agreements because we are dealing with objects with actual monetary value. We support understanding and appreciating about culture and history of the world.

The Meditation Club provides students with mindfulness tools and exercises to reduce stress and anxiety levels. The goal of the club is to teach students how to improve concentration, memory, and emotional health through meditation. The Model United Nations club allows students to enhance their skills in debate and diplomacy by role-playing delegates to the United Nations (UN) and simulating UN committee. Through the club, students will also have the opportunity to apply their skills at local weekend Model UN conferences attended by students from across the country and around the world. Not only do conferences allow students to showcase their skills on a larger stage but they will also have the opportunity to meet hundreds of like-minded students and form meaningful life-long friendships.

Positivity Club is a student-run organization that strives to promote a positive attitude and mindset through the McRoberts community. From small acts of kindness to school-wide events, Positivity club reminds many that they play an important leadership role, and what may seem like a small contribution to society often has significant impacts on people's lives. Working hand in hand with many different clubs such as Multicultural club, Social Justice, and Student Council, Positivity club hopes to be a part of everyone's life, reminding all that positivity starts with a smile.
School can be difficult sometimes. The goal of Positivity Club is to help brighten up McRoberts and to build more positive relationships between students. Welcome to the 21st Century! Programming Club is an opportunity for students to learn how to design and develope games, website, and software. No prior coding experience required. First, we will spend a lot of time teaching the basic coding fundamentals that can be translated into any language. Next, we start building extremely simple applications to apply the fundamentals. Afterwards, each member will be able to build his own software. Once we reach that level, we can start competing to see who can build the most effictive algorithm.
