Attention all grade 11 and 12 parents! Volunteers are needed for the June 2018 Dry After Grad.
Dry After Grad (“DAG”) is an exciting, entertaining, “dry” (alcohol and drug free), all night, all inclusive, culminating event at the school that provides grads a safe place to celebrate with all of their classmates one last time together. It is organized and run by grade 12 parents and takes place after the Grad Dinner and Dance at the end of June. Chartered coach transportation is provided to the hotel in downtown Vancouver and then back to the school for the DAG event.
Both grade 11 and 12 parent volunteers are needed to make this event a success. If you are a grade 11 parent, volunteering will be a great way to meet other parents and gain experience in seeing and being involved in the future planning of your child’s DAG event.
The official DAG will take place on Thursday, June 28 from 11:59 PM to the next morning until 5:00 AM, but volunteers are needed during June 26th and 27th to set up and decorate. During the actual DAG event it is preferred that grade 11 parent’s volunteer. Students prefer to not have their parents at the party!
This event cannot occur without a large number of parent volunteers, and we urge parents to step up and support this great event by volunteering.
Volunteers are needed to help with:
- Set up (aft and eve of June 26 and 27)
- Decorating (aft and eve of June 26 and 27)
- Bag drop off (eve of June 27th)
- Transportation- chaperone on bus from school to hotel and back
