Sorry... it was a busy week which meant lots of opportunities to share with you all that is going on here at McRoberts. Sadly, it was a bit "too" busy. When we look back at this very full week, there sadly was not enough time to record the amazing things that went on. Will do better next week...
Reaching for the stars is not just an expression here at McRoberts. Mr. Looney's Industrial designs took this seriously as they built and lanched their model rockets this week in our back field.
Propoganda Anyone
For the past week, students from Ms. Wong's English 12 classes have been presenting party positions in a real world attempt at using persuasive style speech to sway voters.
Spring Concert - Last Concert of the Year
It was bitter sweet. Though the music was exellent, knowing it would be the last concert of the year and for some, the last concert of their high school lives, it was hard not be to be a bit emotional. Congratuations to Mr. Carter and the Grade 8 Concert Band, Senior Concert Band, and Jazz Band, as well as Ms. Dray's Choir and Chamber for another amazing night of music. A special congratulations to all of the Grade 12's who performed for the last time at a McRoberts Music Concert.
