Strikers Weekly - Week of October 21, 2018

Sorry... just a short weekly this week.

Grad Barbeque... the first of many Grad Events was a low key opportunity for our soon-to-be graduates, to connect, eat, and enjoy time together.

McRoberts Gear... Coming Soon

Though it has not arrived quite yet, our first order of McRoberts Gear should be arriving shortly.  Once it arrives, our school clothing committee will be hard at work selling garmets on a first come, first serve, basis.  If you don't get the item you want in the size you want, you may place an order for in our second round sale.  We also have a few items left over the 2018 sale which will also be on sale.

Post Secondary Afternoon

Still making decisions about your post secondary futures... hopefully some of your questions were answered at our annual Post Secondary Event.  Many institutions and post high school options were on hand to answer student questions.  If you still have questions that have not been answered, please feel free to contact the school.  We are more than happy to provide you as much supprt as possible as students transition beyond high school.  (Thanks Ms. Charlton for the photos).

Registration is now open for the 2018 City of Richmond Diversity Symposium

Moving from Diversity to Inclusion: Exploring Pathways to Inclusion for Diverse Communities

How do we move from being diverse to being inclusive? This fundamental question reinforces the theme of the fourth annual City of Richmond Diversity Symposium on Friday, November 2, 2018 and explores various pathways to inclusion for diverse groups of people in our community.

Presented by the City of Richmond, and a range of committed community partners, this year's agenda emphasizes the need for thoughtful strategies, innovative collaboration and partnerships, and the practical "how to" tools needed to foster inclusion in organizations, neighbourhoods and cities.
