Strikers Weekly - Week of November 11, 2018

Lest we forget...  A special thanks Ms. Freese and her amazing students whose powerful and moving Remembrance Day Ceremony touched all those who attended.

Richmond Champions

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball Team for winning the Richmond City Senior Volleyball Championships.  The senior girls won a hard fought tournament in front of full (and loud) crowd in our gym.  Next up, Lower Mainland Championship Tournament.

Cross Country Provincials

Congratulations to Josiane and Kezia who represented McRoberts in the Provincial Cross Country Meet held this past weekend in Nanaimo.

Pumpkin Art

A quick walk to the pumpkin patch, selection of the perfect pumpkin, and an afternoon transforming fruit into art.  Congratulations to Ms. Miller's art students for demonstrating their skills in yet another medium.

McRoberts International Club

The McRoberts International Club hosted a successful luncheon.  In attendance were over 70 students as well as a representative from the District.

Emotional First Aid - A Ted Talk

In Ms. McKenna's English 12 classes, students discussed the merrits of this Ted Talk.  When asked if this is something we should share with other students and parents, they felt that we definitely should.  Though it is 17 minutes, it is worth the watch.
