Strikers Weekly - Week of January 7, 2019

Just a quick note to wish you all the happiest of holidays.  Enjoy this special time with family and friends.  Hopefully there will be time enough to recharge batteries and get ready for an amazing 2019 year ahead.  Thanks to Ms. Miller's art students for creating these beautiful holiday cards.

Though an early start (doors opening at 7am), once the yawns subsided, everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.  With over 250 participants (including over 50 of last year's grads), many started the last day of classes before the break with a full stomach and a warm heart.  Thanks to Nina, Sarah, and the many members of the Breakfast with Santa Grad Subcommittee for hosting a wonderful event.

Box of Socks Teams with Ignite the Warmth

Members of the Grad Legacy teamed with the Ignite the Warmth Foundation, to take the socks, warm clothing, toiletries, and left-over Halloween Candy to those in need in the Downtown East Side.  Though our students were involved in passing on items, it was the students who were the beneficiaries.  Along witht the information
