Though it has been a very different first part of a school year, your patience and willingness to adapt have been very much appreciated. Though we know we are not finished with "pandemic protocols," the roll-out of the vaccine should help speed along this process.

Finishing up Before the Break
Though it is on a compressed schedule, the student work is still brilliant. Students were working to finish clay works to take home before the break; then them all packed into the kiln getting bisque fired. Thanks Ms. Miller for the photos.
Mme Mainville writes: This quarter, students in French Immersion wrote messages of hope to marginalized Francophones receiving help from the Social Outreach Organization “La Boussole”. La Boussole provides many support services to Francophones that are either victims of violence, suffer from mental health and/or addiction issues and are in need of support in the downtown east side.
This year due to Covid, they cannot hold their annual Christmas dinner/celebration, therefore they have prepared hampers and wanted to include letters or cards with messages of hope for this Christmas season. McRoberts FI students sent over 60 letters! Bravo Strikers!!!
