CAREER EDUCATION -- LET (Life Education Time) DAYS
LET Time is part of the Career Education (CE) program at McRoberts. The CE program is a Ministry of Education requirement for all grade 8 through 12 students as part of the new 2018 Graduation program. On LET Days, students will meet in LET Groups, which are made up of grade 8-12 students (4-5 students per grade in each group). All students have required assignments and work to complete that will be assessed as part of the CE program, so students are asked to keep all handouts in their LET Duotang (gr 8-9 students) or in their own separate binder/duotang (gr 10-12 students). Grade 8-11 students will be using an online program called myBlueprint, which is a web-based application for Career Education. Students will also complete work on handouts and they are reminded to upload all Career Education work to their myBlueprint "CE" Portfolio. Beginning next year, grade 12 students will complete and present a culminating Capstone project for Career Education. More information will be shared with students and parents throughout the year. Students can see Mrs. Charlton in the main office regarding any questions related to Career Education and LET Days.
