Capstone (Timeline, FAQ, Logs & Pitch)

The Career Education Capstone Project is the culmunation of the journey that our students take through their high school experience. The Capstone timeline shows specific aspects of the grade 11 and 12 capstone preparation and presentation. Please note:

1. Learning Logs: Grade 11 students should be using the attached Learning Log (fillable) Template to guide the development of your learning logs for your CLC and Capstone work. The first Learning Log was due on April 9th, 2020. Please note the two sample Learning Logs that are attached, along with the link to a sample for Video Micro-Logging that Mr. McBurney prepared for students.

2. The Pitch: By the end of grade 11, students need to have chosen the topic for their Capstone, completed a proposal or "Pitch" and have received approval from their teacher. The Capstone Pitch is due on June 1st, 2020.

Please note: In Grade 12, students can expect to spend at least 40 hours working on their CAPSTONE project. We are currently looking at some ways to find more time to work on the project during school hours; however, a significant amount of the work will be done outside of school time.
