Graduation Tranistions (GT) is a BC Ministry of Education requirement for graduation. For more information about the GT program, students and parents can refer to the BC Ministry of Education's Program Guide for Graduation Transitions.
Upon successful completion of all aspects of the GT program, students receive 4 credits toward graduation. There are several requirements for Graduation Transitions with many completed through the Senior Planning course. In grade 12 the majority of students will have two requirements, the 30 hour work experience and a student-led exit interview, completed in April. Students that have completed their 30 hour work expereince prior to grade 12 should submit their form to Mr. Whittingham. Students may see their counsellor or Mr. Whittingham if they have any questions about Graduation Transitions.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of all students to ensure they have completed all components of GT, and that they have provided proof of completion. GT is a ministry requirement and students will NOT graduate if they do not complete this program.
