The end of the Applied Skills Rotation means a time to test their creations.  Students in Mr. Looney's Tech 8 Class had a chance to fire their catapults they made in a spirited but controlled altercation.

Students in Mr. Beresford's Wood 8 Class were finishing up their final touches for a special project they hope to share soon.  

 

 

Eye Dissection

Though not something for everyone, most students in Mr. Rutherford's Science class took the opportunity to do some hands-on exploration of a cow's eye in Science 8.  After overcoming the initial apprehension, students took advantage of the opportunity to compare what they have in their hands to what they have learned in their texts.

APR 12 - 16/21  EducationUSA SAT Boot Camp

This is a five-session intensive for Canadian students who are preparing to take the SAT exam (ideally in Grades 10 or 11). These sessions are free of charge. April 12, Session 1: Full-length Practice Test - this will be a live, proctored practice test April 13, Session 2: The SAT in admissions - general information about the SAT, registration, and time management tips April 14, Session 3: Reading Comprehension April 15, Session 4: Math and Writing April 16, Session 5: Full-length Practice Test - another practice test and a chance to practice your new skills!
