In Search of Bacteria

Students in Ms. Swali's Life Science 11 classes were in search of bacteria.  Though hopefully hard to find, we know there is bacteria that we all co-exist with.

Plumbing and Cooking are held in SD38 schools and part of the program is spent with our partner post-secondary school (PSI).
Other 12 programs are full-time at a PSI (semester)​.

APR 23/21 (new deadline) Minerva BC Learning to Lead Program for Grade 11 Students - Learning to Lead provides self-identified girls, trans, and nonbinary high school students with a virtual opportunity to increase confidence and explore their leadership potential while creating a network who will support them along their educational and career journeys. Throughout the program, participants develop their confidence through workshops that identify their key strengths and core values. They leave the program with greater self-awareness, and the inspiration to take on new challenges and opportunities. There is no cost to participants. Over the course of two weeks, there are more than 70 events for Destination UBC. Some sessions are just for certain communities – for example, Indigenous students or parents – and you’ll only be eligible to attend sessions for the UBC campus you’ve been admitted to, unless they are open to everyone.
