Richmond Virtual School is the Richmond School District’s provider of kindergarten to grade 12 blended, online courses. Our classes are all full credit, Ministry of Education, courses that receive the same credits as a regular high school course. We have one of the highest completion rates in the province which we attribute to the fact that students have regular meetings with their teachers. New Changes to Online Course Registration: 

As of July 1, 2023, School Districts may only enrol a student in online learning classes if the student resides within the school district’s geographic boundaries (e.g. Richmond residents can no longer enrol in online schools outside of the Richmond School District).  Students who wish to take online courses will either need to register with Richmond Virtual School or with one of the Ministry-approved, provincial online course providers. For more information, please click on the following links BC Ministry of Education - Online Learning and Overview of Changes – Online Learning
