Monday, September 30^th is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. All schools in the Richmond School District will be closed on Monday Sept 30^th in honour of this day. 

Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation recognize the impacts and history of residential schools, to honour both the victims and survivors of residential schools, and as a call of action to reconciliation. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.  We encourage all members of our McRoberts community to take a moment to reflect on Monday about your own part in the reconciliation process,
