We hope that the holiday has been relaxing and rejuvenating and that days were spent enjoying the sunny weather in this beautiful part of the world and that you are excited about a return to school at McRoberts Secondary.

Attached is the Welcome Back letter and the School opening Newsletter. Within those documents is much information that will hopefully answer questions you may have about start-up. There are several staffing changes mentioned in the attached letter. Please know that the changes are part of regular operations and the new staff at McRoberts are all very excited to meet our students.

By the end of the week we will send more emails that will include the Striker Weekly which serves as a Week at a Glance (WAAG) for Parents. We will endeavour to keep you updated on the events at the school through the WAAG each week.

The schedule for Tuesday, September 8th is as follows (all students should report to the gym for Assemblies and then go to Homerooms-all this information is in the attached letter):

• Grade 8 Assembly and Homerooms - 9:30 AM-11:00 AM
• Grade 9 & 10 Assembly and Homerooms-12:00-1:00 PM
• Grade 11 & 12 Assembly and Homerooms-1:30-2:30

Homeroom lists will be posted by the front door windows on Friday by 3:00 PM as well as on rolling boards that will be in the gym.
