World Cafe - November 2018

What do students do on a sunny professional day in November?  Over fifty of our students chose to participate in our schools Professional Development Day here at the school (which meant an 8:30am start... no sleeping in).

This Professional Learning (at our Professional Development Day) was shaped around an activity called the "World Cafe."  The purpose of the day was to have students and staff share thoughts, ideas, and insights into the learning environment here at McRoberts and think of ways in which to continue our on-going school improvement.  

This important opportunity for our staff, gave us better insight into what we as a staff should consider as priorities moving forward.  It was clear that both Core Competencies as well as Career Education were strong themes that the school needs to consider as an important focus for better supporting our students overall growth and development.
