This year our McRoberts staff are working on 7 different Innovation Inquiry Grants.

This winter all our staff involved in the inquiry grants met and discussed their goals. Through this discussion, we learned that there are overlapping common themes throughout that directly support our school story and our students' learning experiences at McRoberts.

Themes included: student need for safe spaces, social-emotional well-being, students feeling like they have a place in the community, students feeling like they have a voice, and students' physical and cognitive needs. As a group, we built a visual diagram that illustrates what we're working towards as all our grants are in service to creating student spaces to support student learning. While each inquiry group will be working on individual initiatives, they all revolve around our main goal of building spaces for students to help their learning.
