Our Career Information Advisor is available to support students with information regarding post-secondary institutions (entrance requirements, deadlines, application support, etc.) and general career exploration help. We currently have Ms. E. Tang  (etang@sd38.bc.ca) as our Career Information Advisor; her office is across the Snack Shack - please stop by and say hi and book an appointment to meet with her.

SD38 Parents are invited to attend to hear all about the Trade Training & Apprenticeship Programs, Dual Credit Programs offered at SD38 with tuition covered for all. JAN 18/24 ECE Assistant Program (NEW) Offered at SD38 Information Night 6:30-7:15 PM

Attend a zoom info night and learn about the ECE Assistant Certification. Meet the program Coordinator. Suitable for Grade 10's/11's to apply for the July 2024 Program. For zoom login and password see the Career Programs slat board in the Career Centre for details.

JAN 23/24 Health Care Programs (NEW) Offered at SD38 Information Night 6:30-7:15

Attend a zoom info night and learn about the Health Care or Medical Lab Assistant Program. Hear from VCC Teaching staff. Suitable for Grade 10's/11's to apply. For zoom login and password see the Career Programs slat board in the Career Centre for details.

FEB 1/24 Manufacturing & Engineering Co-op Program (NEW) Offered at SD38 Information Night 6:30-7:15

Attend a zoom info night and learn about the MEC Program. The program runs full-time Semester 2 @ Burnett Secondary School. Learn about Engineering, work experience, industry certification and exploration of the trades. Suitable for Grade 10's/11's. myBlueprint Handout - The myBlueprint Education Planner is a student-friendly, interactive education and career/life planning resource.  This handout provides steps to set up student and family accounts.  myBlueprint is a helpful tool for post-secondary planning.

Student Transcript Services Instructions - Student Transcript Service (STS) is an online application for students to view their school marks, transcripts, scholarships and send transcripts electronically to post-secondary institutions and employers.  Attached are the instructions to set up student accounts.
