Animal Rescue Club Mr. Gamliel-Komar The Animal Rescue Club is dedicated to promoting animal welfare, educating students, and supporting local animal shelters through volunteer work, fundraising, and community engagement.   Room 203 Wednesday 12:15-1pm 
Art Club Mrs. A Miller The goal of the Art Club is to create a more connected art community within McRoberts, to unite artists and get more people involved in art. rm 126 1st Tuesday of each month After school 3:10-4:10 (some days will be longer)
Art for Care Club Mme Groumoutis Students will use their creativity in making cards, creating colouring sheets, crocheting toys, or making gift bags. All of these creations will be gifted to patients that are staying in hospitals for long periods of time and elderly people in nursing homes to bring them joy, motivation, and comfort.  Room 208 2nd Thursday of the month PLT 9:20 a.m.

Chinese Character Calligraphy Club Ms. Milan To teach how to create Chinese characters in calligraphy, and to create artwork to post and share. In room 125. Thursdays Lunchtime.

Dungeons and Dragons Club Ms. Matheos Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop roleplaying game set in a fantasy world, where you can pretty much play however you want (as long as you’re willing to face the consequences)! Tell the story of your character, whether they’re a heroic paladin with a dark secret, a warlock who sacrificed everything in the name of power, or just some gnome named Tibbles. We’re pretty chill about the rules, so play what’s fun for you! Club meetings are every Tuesday at lunch in room 214. Room 214 Tuesdays  Lunch

First Responders Mr. Cook McRoberts FRs provide first aid treatment to any student who is injured or unwell. HMS Club Coalition Ms. Vaughan & Ms. T Miller HMSCC - McRoberts Club Coalition is a platform for all students - club executives, members, or future members - to promote their club, learn more about other clubs that might be of interest to them, and collaborate together for events. HMSCC operates at Hugh McRoberts Secondary School, and has a distinct goal to unify the individual clubs in the school and provide the latest news on opportunities for students! We support the students with information about the myriad of clubs at our school and benefit the clubs with possible collaborations and sponsorship funding for their needs.   Room 216 TBA Lunch

Interact Club Mr. Chan The Interact Club (sponsored by Rotary International) aims to encourage youth from ages 12-18 develop leadership skills and responsibility, as well as to participate in purposeful service projects in ways that encourage personal and social well-being, international understanding, and “service above self.” Room 202 Thursdays Lunch

Math Club Mr. CHan The purpose of the club is to help people who have trouble with math and provide people who are enthusiastic about math some contest level questions to challenge themselves. Room 202 Monday Lunch
McRoberts Dance Team Ms. Chen Focus is to promote physical health and active living through dance (and fun!). Also to foster a sense of collaboration, belonging and spirit to the students. The Dance team is working towards competing at District Competitions.  Art hallway and maybe gym (if available) M, W, F  after school 3:15-5pm

Muslim Student Association Mme Mainville Spread awareness and combat misinformation and stereotypes; help fight discrimination, bigotry and prejudice. Rainbow Club  Mme Martin & Ms. Wolbers The Rainbow Club aims to provide a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. It will also complete fundraising for organizations supporting LGBTQIA+ teens and rights. Room 105 Tuesday Lunch
Scale Model Club Mr Beresford Our club focuses on building and painting scale model kits to create realistic looking robots, planes, cars and boats.  The emphasis of our club is sharing and improving our modelling skills and sharing new ideas about model building where senior members spend time mentoring new members.  Room 119 Wednesdays 3pm

Biomedical Physics Club Ms. Swali Our club is dedicated to peer tutoring, offering support across all subjects, including senior branches of science, math, and languages. Additionally, we run fundraisers for meaningful scientific causes and explore diverse science topics through engaging activities. We also organize teams for national competitions, particularly in physics and biology, and host guest speakers. The purpose of the club is to inspire academic growth, collaboration, and a passion for science and community impact. room 231 Thursdays lunch

Student Voice Team Bains and Cook Student Voice is a welcoming meeting space for students looking to speak up about their observations and opinions on improving the school community. Ultimate Frisbee Club Ms. Chen The focus of this club is to encourage people who have never played ultimate frisbee before to try this sport. We will work on throwing techniques and basic game play. The purpose is to have fun and play in a safe and encouraging environment with low stress to compete and win. Lastly, participants will feel more comfortable when the season begins.  Back field behind South Arm Will do a poll, but Monday OR Friday 3:15-4:15
