This year, Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD), for grade 9 students across Canada, is being held on Wednesday, November 1^st.  

The Students Commission of Canada has provided material and activities to support this day.  There are virtual content including pre-recorded and live content, to appeal to diverse student interests and to support various school schedules for this event. We encourage grade 9s and their families to visit The Students Commission of Canada website and register for more information:

If students are planning to be away from school on November 1^st  to pursue an opportunity, please review the attached document for the field trip form that is required to excuse students from school. 

The attached ‘Parent Permission Form’ must be completed, signed, and returned to the office by Wednesday, October 25^th. 

Paper copies of the form are also available for students to pick up in the office.  Signed forms can be emailed to mcroberts@sd38.bc.ca or dropped off in the main office.
